Dr Yann Golanski
Co-Founder, Director
As an accomplished leader in greenfield project management, Yann adeptly incorporates security protocols from the project’s inception, thereby emphasising a proactive Shift Left approach. During his quarter of a century career, Yann has gained extensive experience in all aspects of Cybersecurity and information security governance, multidisciplinary team & project management, and software engineering. He managed the largest email system in Europe, created mathematical models of road and telecommunication networks, optimised sub-nanometer metrology on silicon wafers, and programmed giant underwater robots.
Ben Murray
Co-Founder, Director
Ben is a deep learning researcher and software engineer experienced in developing demanding applications for innovative sectors such as bioinformatics, medical imaging, gaming and finance. His skill set runs the gamut of computer science and software engineering, from low-level algorithmic, performance critical code through to architecting applications and troubleshooting, growing and bar-raising development teams. He is writing up a PhD in deep learning for biomedical engineering, and has played a key role in the design and implementation of MONAI, the leading open-source deep learning library for medical applications. He is interested in how to mitigate the weaknesses inherent in cutting-edge AI to effectively deploy it in an augmentative capacity.
John Denholm
Co-Founder, Director
With over 20 years in operations, DevOps and dev, John has focussed on operating software and understanding how to build software that’s good to operate. As a technical leader, he has seen how choices across a business impact the quality and speed of software delivery. He brings experience of outcomes of software practices and how false economies during development play out in total cost of ownership. He understands how to make choices up front that impact software usability, either by yourself or your customers, and how to incorporate non-functional requirements into your teams’ ways of working. Furthermore, he is experienced at the end of the dev lifecycle, and on creating your own definition of done.
Jonathan Wood
Co-Founder, Agile Coach
Boasting 25 years in operational support and quality assurance, Jonathan is an Agile-proficient Scrum Master/Coach. He has successfully guided diverse teams through intricate Agile SaaS products, prioritising high-value results and spearheading major organisational shifts. His expertise in quality assurance and Scrum ensures top-tier product delivery and team efficiency. He prioritises OKRs and lean+Agile flow, and his interest in cutting-edge technology, such as AI, drives his constant learning. Eager for new challenges, he enhances team performance and optimises Agile processes for clients.
Neus Torres Tamarit
Creative Director
Neus is a versatile and dynamic creative leader, with a unique blend of academic knowledge in Art and Science, fostering creativity and adaptability. As a Multimedia Artist, she has partnered with prestigious institutions like University College London, The Francis Crick Institute, and The National Gallery, creating engaging art and public engagement projects at the intersection between science and technology. Her transition into Brand Management showcases her ability to harness this artistic skill set to nurture and evolve the brand of science-focused companies. With over nine years of experience in Graphic Design and Brand Management, she has successfully developed impactful design solutions across a diverse range of industries in both B2B and B2C sectors. She is the co-founder of Phenotypica with her partner, an initiative under which they create artworks at the intersection between science and technology.
